東京住宿驚魂記:Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho

今年(2018)我帶小孩跟老媽出國過暑假,總共去了上海、馬德里、德國及東京。萬萬沒想到,我們在最後一站東京,也是一般大家認為最安全的日本,發生了驚魂遭遇。
本文為真實經驗,發生沒兩天看到其他人在那霸遇到類似的事情,因此寫出來與大家分享。

事件經過
有人開我房門,還好我有上扣,他就一直撞門!我被吵醒,看到他手都伸進來想要開門,我就問是誰,人就跑掉了。」
「昨晚是我值班,整夜都沒有接到電話。」

「是人員疏失,因為你們昨天是中午前

的,資料沒有進系統,系統顯示為空房間。因為工作人員晚上要檢查空房間,才發生這次事件,很抱歉我們會加強人員訓練。」
「有哪個工作人員會開門,發現有反扣還一直撞門,客人問是誰,也不留下來跟客人好好解釋,而是直接跑掉?」

我完全不相信他說的。
疑點 1: 行為不像飯店人員
疑點 2: 為何不檢查我的房間?
疑點 3: 半夜到底是誰接了我的電話?
疑點 4: 飯店不肯提供監視器畫面
請提供監視器畫面證明真的是工作人員,不然我覺得你是在耍我。
人員疏失問題總比飯店安全問題小,但我認為跟客戶說謊就是大問題,表示同樣問題會重複發生。

(也是日本知名連鎖飯店),被敲門聲吵醒。打開房門,半夜兩點飯店說要查房
不清楚飯店人員為何要查房(前提假設:真的是飯店人員),提醒大家不管住哪裡,房門必須扣上,必須反鎖(如果有),不要把錢財護照留在房間。
- 半夜查房發現房內有人,是直接落跑,而未向客人解釋。飯店對此並未否認,僅說抱歉會加強人員訓練。
- 隔天早上竟然說無人接到電話。
- 事後信件往來感覺他們只想大事化小,我不確定這是否為國際連鎖品牌正確的SOP。「抱歉,我們會加強人員訓練。」我對這樣的回覆並不滿意,但我無意再繼續與飯店方溝通浪費生命了。
每個人都有自主判斷的能力,你當然可以認為是飯店人員查房,一直撞門把客人撞醒,還把手伸進來想打開門扣。

After I posted the experience, Tokyo moxy email me on July 23, 2018:
the mobile check in was not reflected in our Front Office system.
the night shift was trying to enter your room for inspection.
My reply was as below, including the flaws:
remind every customer “DONT USE MARRIOTT APP to CheckIn” Otherwise, they will risk the room being invaded by strangers because their rooms are VACANT.
even they signed, providing passport, credit card, and get the room keys, which might not mean you are successfully checked in.
WHY HE RAN AWAY when my mom asked “who is it” at 2AM.
Please show me the REAL CCTV footage to proof it was truly your crew, otherwise I will think you are trying to fool me.
WHY DIDN’T HE CHECK MY ROOM?
You were trying to convince me it was my fault to use mobile checkin,
it was you staff doing unusual behavior (like a thief)-kept pushing the door loudly and ran away when people inside asking who was it.
After my reply, Tokyo Moxy still refuse to provide CCTV. Someone said I should stay and call the police, only the police has the right to check CCTV. Well, because my flight was 12 am on that day, it was impossible for me to stay. Remind all if this happen to you, call the police, or close the door to clamp his hand when he reaching inside.
That’s all until now. I also email Marriott to complain, but I haven’t gotten any useful or practical reply.
